RETIRED

Knip is a superb example of the Blue Abyssinian, with wonderful blue and pink undertones to her coat.  Her overall appearance is a soft, warm, blue ticked color with deeper blue-gray. The base hair is pinkish mushroom.  The nose leather is dark pink and the paw pads are mauvish-blue.  You can see by the difference in the photo's above that depending on the light and background she can appear to be very different in coloration.  This is typical of any Abyssinian that has the proper ticking.  The translucent layers let the coat take on different high lights depending on the background and lighting. 

Knip is now a retired lady, I have kept one of her kittens and hope that she will become as beautiful as her mother.  Knip just turned out to be too small to be able to carry a litter to term.  Rather than continue her struggles to produce full term kittens, I have decided to retire her to the role of "Auntie".  She loves the kittens of Denali and Lobukk, and still plays and participates with them, but will no longer be bred.
